Imagine if you will a spiritual being. “The great I am.” Jehovah, (which is his Title) loves his children (His Creation.) However, numerous times he has given these children chances (or choices.) to repent and follow his laws. Quite similar to what you may do with your own children.
Our Heavenly Father eventually, because of his love, decides to make the ultimate sacrifice. This “sacrifice” is one that few if any could contend with. Through his grace and infallible knowledge, God will present a Son who will take on the world’s sin, die in that sin, and then be resurrected and washed of the sin.
This Son, who will be sacrificed is; His Only Begotten. This “Only Begotten Son” who was not created is actually a part of God himself.
Note* Fact one, this “Only Begotten Son” was before anything even existed. In fact scripture tells us this; John; 1-1.
Now this Only Begotten Son, who was before creation, is sent to be the savior of us all.
The reason he must send His “Only Begotten Son” is, because, God Almighty, is Eternal (Jeremiah; 10-10) and can never die. Also, He (God) can never be tempted by sin, (James: 1-13)
Because of these facts, the only way God could accomplish the “Plan of Salvation” was to have a child be born to a virgin through his Holy Spirit. (Mathew: 1-18) and then endure a death and eventual resurrection. (Mathew: 27-32 ….)
This is why it the bible it is written: Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Messiah. [Greek Christ] Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son. (1 John: 2-22
Therefore we are left with the most descriptive and wonderful verse of the New Testament John 3:16.
